A lot of people are becoming more interested in OMAD and with good reasons. I’ve been doing it for almost 2 years and it’s become a staple in my nutritional toolkit. I have to say right away that you don’t need to be eating only once a day to be healthy, to lose weight or even gain the cognitive enhancing effects of fasting. I’m not going to lie – once you get used to OMAD or the ketogenic diet even, you’re going to feel marvelous. But at the same time, you shouldn’t make the false presumption that these benefits can’t be gained with other types of intermittent fasting as well. Eating once a day doesn’t mean you can’t be equally as healthy with other types of intermittent fasting, nor does it mean that you can’t get sick or obese on OMAD. HARMFUL EFFECTS OF KETOGENIC DIET OR KETO DIET आज हम आप से बात करेंगे ketogenic diet के बारे मे जो कि आजकल बहुत चलन मे है। Keto diet- low carbohydrate, high fat or moderate protein diet is called ketogenic diet. और normal diet मे high carbohydrate, moderate protein and fat होता है। जो normal diet maximum population consume करती है उसमे around total calories का 70% portion carbohydrates और 10-12% protein और 20-25% fat होता है। जब भी हम carbs and proteins को अपनी diet मे लेते हैं तो liver उसको glucose के form मे break कर देता है जो कि energy produce करने मे मदद करता है जो कि हमारी daily activity के लिए जरूरी है। carbohydrate हमारी body कि energy के लिए primary source है। जब भी हमारी body मे glucose excess मे हो जाता है। तो बड़ा हुआ glucose, glycogen मे convert हो जाता है जो कि glycogenesis process के through liver and muscles मे store हो जाता है। और अगर glycogen भी excess मे हो जाए तो lipogenesis process के through fat मे convert हो के body मे store हो

So, today we’re going to answer the question; what is the keto diet and how does it work? If you’ve never heard of Ketosis, well, this is basically a question about the benefits of a low-carbohydrate diet. Let’s start with a basic fact of physiology; for many important parts of your body, glucose is the number one fuel. Brain, red blood cells, testes, and many others, will all shout for glucose without even looking at the menu. Glucose is normally created from carbohydrates. However, sometimes there’s no carbs and so no glucose available. So your body had to evolve a way to replace glucose and avoid going into hypoglycaemia, where your blood sugar is dangerously low, leading to dizziness, loss of motor skills and eventually unconsciousness and death, which is not super fun. Is the ketogenic diet the best method to lose weight and fat?
